LAWRENCEVILLE. This vibrant, colorful outlet mall is affiliated with the Discover Card, whose members receive such special perks as bottled water, two-way radios for mall use, and gift boxes. More than 200 venues offer a wealth of discount shopping. Among them are Eddie Bauer, Jones New York, Liz Claiborne, Kenneth Cole, Skechers, Neiman Marcus Last Call, and Zales. Also on the premises are a skateboarders' park, an 18-screen movie theater, sit-down restaurants, and a food court.

BUCKHEAD. One of Atlanta's favorite shopping destinations, this upscale mall boasts wide, well-lit corridors and some of the nation's most well-known retailers. Connected to area hotels and parking garages, the mall is a convenient boon to travelers, especially if they didn't rent cars. BUCKHEAD. A lovely interior and a clutch of exclusive shops render this elegant shopping center one of Atlanta's most fashionable. Just across from Lenox Square (which is accessible via a complimentary shuttle), Phipps Plaza shelters such singular shops as Tiffany & Co., Caswell-Massey, A|X Armani Exchange, Versace, Max Mara, Cache Luxe and Giorgio Armani. MARIETTA. If you're in Marietta and are hoping to while away a few hours shopping, this outdoor complex offers plenty of opportunity. Approximately 50 shops promise the best of upscale retail shopping, and you're certain to find a bargain or two in the process. Among the occupants you'll encounter are Banana Republic, Gap, Harry and David, Pottery Barn, Williams-Sonoma, Borders, and Bed, Bath & Beyond.
